Original Vintage 1970 Mark Lindsay/John D'Andrea WFLI Photo and Article - Personally Autographed to YOU by Mark
This is an original glossy-finish 8"x10" from the collection of Mark Lindsay. It's the only photo we have of Mark Lindsay and John D'Andrea, taken on April 17, 1970. (The date is labeled on the back.) Mark is sucking on a lollipop and signing an album for a fan.
The Raiders were playing one of the iconic Jet-FLI Radio Spectaculars in Chattanooga, TN, one of four times they were booked for the event. Because of the of the frequent use of horns on the Raiders' as well as Mark's solo music in the 70s, John D'Andrea performed with the Raiders on sax and was the musical director for the horn section. (You may also recognize John's name as an arranger on many of the later Raiders' and Mark's solo recordings.)
We'll also include a print-out of a 9-page article about the history of the Jet-FLI Radio Spectaculars, because it includes a reference to the Raiders' show where they'd been accidentally double-booked in another city the same day, but thanks to some last minute private jet arrangements, they did all 3 shows scheduled for that day. Mark will personalize the article to you.
Mark will PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPH the photo to the name of your choice. (Note: the "marklindsay.com" watermark does not appear on the autographed photo.)
