Mark's Personal Copy - RARE History Rebeats Itself PR-Authorized Raiders Bio Book + 8 Revere Deposition Pages - Personally Autographed to YOU by Mark

From the collection of Mark Lindsay, this is a vintage 1985 copy of HISTORY REBEATS ITSELF, purported to be an authorized biography of the Raiders, written by Claudia Doege. It measures 5-1/4 x 8-3/8" and has 160 pages.

Copies of this book are almost impossible to come by and usually sell for $150 or so, un-autographed.

Condition notes: Fair, used extensively by Mark as a reference for dates of events - kind of a pre-Wikipedia reference book. Some water damage at top of spine and lower right. Please examine photos closely. 

Mark was contacted by Claudia to participate in the book but chose not to, since she was working closely with Paul and he felt the book would be more of a promotion for the 1980s-era version of the Raiders. Claudia had a relationship with that band and that tended to color the emphasis of the book.

In addition, Mark and Paul had just signed a settlement agreement precipitated by Mark finding out that Paul was taking unauthorized withdrawals from their joint real estate investment account, and they were not on speaking terms, except through attorneys, at that time. Thus, Mark's section has many factual errors and shows a bit of bias since Claudia was frustrated at his non-cooperation.

We will also include pages 10-17 of Paul Revere's deposition on 2/14/2000 (taken for another matter), printed on light pink parchment paper, in which Paul discusses the book.

Mark will PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPH the title page of the book and the first page of his bio section, to the name of your choice, in blue ink.
