This is a 2002 CD release includes some of the classic American Songbook recordings, with a slight jazz feel. Mark had visited Morocco, got into the spirit of Casablanca, and decided to do a studio album of songs HE would have done at the original Rick's Cafe. Mark will PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPH the CD to the name of your choice.
From author Stephen King's Entertainment Weekly column in 2008 - Stephen looked on his computer to see what songs he played the most that year, and Mark with Los Straitjackets on TREAT HER RIGHT came in at #12 with 27 plays:
12. Treat Her Right Los Straitjackets with Mark Lindsay (27) This remake of Roy Head’s 1965 soul hit smokes. And Mark Lindsay (once lead vocalist of Paul Revere & the Raiders) sounds so good you just gotta wonder where he was all those years.
Mark joined other artists like Nick Lowe, The Reverend Horton Heat, Raul Malo, Big Sandy, Mike Campbell, and others in this 2001 collaboration with Los Straitjackets. Mark also plays sax on his track.
